Spring into Knitting

Spring is a perfect time to knit lightweight, easy-to-carry projects! My passion turns toward summer shells and anything sleeveless, shawls or summer hats.  There are so many great knitwear designers out in the world and I love viewing the patterns in various magazines that I have access to at the local library.  From the magazines I am able to view the newest offerings in yarns and colors specific to summer-taupes, lemony yellows, soft cremes, lavenders, sea foam greens, whites.  And of course, all these colors look great with seasonal white shorts, capris or slacks. It seems that every summer I have my favorite pair of white pants just hanging in the closet waiting to be showcased with newly knit tops!
